The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers - Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Tertiary Institution Innovation Project Invitational Competition under Hong Kong Engineers Week 2024

A project team participated in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Tertiary Institution Innovation Project Invitational Competition under Hong Kong Engineers Week 2024 organised by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers on March 9, 2024 (Hong Kong Engineers Week 2024 (hkengineersweek.com). The HKU team and the Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology team collaborated in winning the following four awards:

i) RC Car Category

• Fastest Remote Control Car Award – Champion
• Most Creative Remote Control Car Design Award – 2^nd Runner Up

ii) Sandcastle Category

Highest Sandcastle Award - Champion

iii) Bridge Category

• Most Lightweight with Least Support Bridge Award – 1^st Runner Up
