Supply chain management:
Advanced manufacturing, logistics engineering, financial engineering, healthcare engineering, operations engineering, system analytics and human factors engineering.
Cyber-physical systems:
Robotics, systems automation, smart devices / auto ID, simulation and virtual reality and 3D printing.

Departmental Requirements
Candidates are required to make an oral presentation of their research proposal as part of the procedure for the confirmation of candidature. Each candidate is also required to give at least one research seminar before submission of thesis title.

The course aims to provide students with a thorough understanding and training of presentation skills.
The course aims achievew the following course objectives:
- To give students an in-depth understanding of the philosophy and different theories of data and systems engineering.
- To introduce introduces different methodologies of data and systems engineering together with your applications in data engineering and analytics/robotics and automation/human-machine corporation.
- To develop students’ abilities to give academic presentation.
